We offer all kinds of classes and workshops for beginners, to experts and everyone in-between.
My classes are an expression of my passion, love and devotion to the ancient wisdom of yoga and Ayurveda. My emphasis is on health and wellbeing. I take a foundational approach to the yoga asanas (poses) — meeting people where they are — both physically and emotionally, while focusing on proper alinement, balance and strength.
I offer weekly classes, private sessions, as well as health consultations. Yoga is a wonderful practice that goes far deeper than just the poses. It embraces and unites your mind, body and spirit, creating inner peace, vitality and joy.
I began my journey on the path of yoga in 1992 when I first attended an Ashtanga yoga class in San Francisco. Since that day I have cultivated and nurtured within myself a lifestyle that incorporates the beautiful wisdom of yoga. I studied yoga therapy with Janice Gates in 2002 and again in 2005 with T.K.V. Desikachar. And through my love for the practice and inner calling to share my knowledge with others I went on to become certified in Heart of Hatha Yoga with Amanda Dozal in Grass Valley, CA. With the desire to further my education I began studying Ayurveda (yoga’s sister science) at the CA College of Ayurveda. Becoming a certified Ayurvedic Health Educator and Practicioner in 2015 deepened my own practice and understanding of the mind, body, soul connection.
